Event Types Explained
Admittee is built to support the wide variety of events your school may host. Below are the most common types of events we see—each fully supported within the Admittee platform. Ticket attributes for these event types can be customized in the Event Editor sidebar, and defaults for certain event categories can be managed in the Settings tab for faster setup.
Athletic Events (Single Competitor)
These are traditional games or matches against one opponent—like football, basketball, or soccer games. You can add competitor info, set ticket types, and publish quickly.
Athletic Events (Multiple Competitors)
Events like track meets, swim meets, or wrestling invitationals often involve multiple schools. Admittee allows you to list all competitors and manage tickets accordingly.
Tournaments
Multi-day or bracket-style tournaments are no problem. You can create events that span multiple days and customize tickets, sponsors, and competitor info for each day if needed.
Field Trips & Camps
If you’re organizing events like field trips, summer camps, or clinics where attendee names are required, Admittee allows you to collect names during checkout. This makes it easy to track attendees and stay organized.
Performing Arts Events
Plays, concerts, and performances often have limited seating. You can set a maximum capacity for tickets and limit ticket types per order to ensure fair distribution.
Free Events with Consent
Hosting a free event that still requires RSVP or parent/guardian consent? Admittee supports free ticketing with required agreement checkboxes built right into the ticket flow.
Teacher Training & Staff Events
Admittee supports no-cost internal events that require attendance tracking like professional development and HR training, so you can keep accurate records for compliance and reporting.
