Account activation & settings

Account activation & settings

Before you start running events, make sure your account is activated and your settings are up to date. This ensures you can receive payments, save time when creating events, and present a polished experience for your community.

There are four main areas to review under Settings:

🟢 Account Activation

Go to Settings > Account Activation to connect your Stripe account.

  • This step is required before you can receive payments.

  • Just follow the Stripe setup instructions to link your organization’s bank account.

  • Once connected, you’ll be able to see transactions and payouts in your Finances section.

⚙️ General Settings

Go to Settings > General Settings and add your defaults:

  • Default ticket prices (e.g., $5 for students, $10 for general admission)

  • Opponent teams (so you don’t have to re-type them each time)

  • Event categories (football, theater, choir, tournaments, etc.)

🏫 School Profile

Go to Settings > School Profile and review the information already on file.

  • Confirm your school or organization name and details are correct

  • Upload or update your logo if needed

  • Set your brand colors so your events and tickets match your brand identity

👤 My Profile

Go to Settings > My Profile to make sure your personal details are accurate.

  • Review your name, email, and contact info

  • Update your notification preferences (how and when you want to be notified)

✅ That’s it — with these four areas updated, you’re ready to create events that are accurate, branded, and easy to manage.
